I have been going to Mitchell Wade Salon for years and have been transformed every time I walk in. I’m always impressed by the staff, state of the art equipment, and great styles from cuts to color. My whole family goes to see Eneith or MW himself and I get complements all the time on my hair. I feel like the staff is a family and they are always finding new innovative ways to keep the salon up to style. They have this great beauty bar up front for waxing and make up! If you don’t live in the Oviedo area, it’s worth a trip. Come pamper yourself! I don’t ever plan on leaving this salon, it’s family!

I can’t help but love this place. I took my elderly Mom here as an acquaintance of hers had her hair done here and looked so pretty with her new hairstyle.
Honestly, it’s a higher-end salon so I wasn’t exactly sure how an elderly client would fit in because some nicer salons have a bit of a snobbishness to them or just trying to be too hip. Not so here! The owner did my Mom’s service and he was just so kind and caring, and held her arm, as she needs some help to stay steady, to lead her from the shampoo area to the haircut chair. He was just such a genuine gentleman.
I like to patronize businesses that are a) local to Oviedo b) where I feel there are good and kind people and c) they do great work. This salon is the trifecta.
And to top it all off, they have a great referral program!

I was in need for a haircut and notice this salon right down the street from me. They were pretty accommodating on same day appointments. The entrance is the salon is a bit weird as it’s in the back and not the store front you see as you drive in.
I had Claudia as my stylist and she was super sweet and listened to what I wanted. She offered great tips of upkeep and how to easily maintain since I pretty much do nothing for my hair. In the end my haircut looked hair and looked healthy and silky.
For shampoo, cut and blow dry, I paid $50. Which is a little on the high side for me but will probably come back for convenience. Don’t forget to check in for $5 off!

Mitchell Wade is a beautiful, clean, professional salon. I’ve had many stylists over the years but none were able to style my “challenging” hair like Valerie at Mitchell Wade. She always makes great suggestions about what works best for my hair and is up on the latest and greatest haircuts and styling techniques. I have baby fine stick straight hair. Came in and met Delores for first time and that was 4 yrs ago. She knows how to work with my hair and is very talented. She gave her opinion when I told her what I would like my hair to look like and she was right. My hair and the color looks good. Unfortunately she is now on maternity leave, but I would be comfortable with anyone there. Highly recommended!!

I have been getting my hair cut by Eneth for years. I heard about them because by husband and his family have also gone there for years. Mitch and Eneth are both great! I also used them to style my hair for my wedding after two unsuccessful trials elsewhere. My husband said my hair had “never looked better” and my curls stayed perfect all night!

Excellent, high quality salon with top notch stylists and excellent service…there are a variety of excellent stylists to suit different ages and personalities. I love Delores and Valerie, and both always make time for me when I need to be seen quickly for a special event. I”ve been to many “top” salons in Orlando, but this is the only one whose stylists are really worth something. After years of bad hair, I finally made the switch to The Mitchell Wade Salon, and I”ve been a loyal client now for almost 4 years.

I’ve been going to Mitchell Wade since the beginning. Karen has been my stylist as long as I’ve been going to a salon. She gave me my first real hair cut (prior to that it was just trims from my mother). Actually, she has been the stylist for my mother and I since before Mitchell Wade even existed. Probably 12 years for me at this point. Even when I was away at college, I always scheduled my hair appointments around when I was going to be home so I could avoid getting a haircut anywhere but MW.
Reasons I love this place:
1. Karen is an amazing stylist. And not only that, she’s just an all-around awesome person. She really makes it an awesome and pleasant experience. She remembers her clients and is always up for catching up over a haircut. It’s like having a girlfriend as a stylist.
2. The rest of the MW family is awesome as well! I’ve occasionally had others style my hair for special occasions like prom and such. And they’re also friendly and fantastic at what they do.
3. You can tell Mitch really loves what he does and values his staff and his customers. This place feels like family.
MW is a little pricey when compared to other salons but it is well worth it in my opinion. Until the time comes that I move away, I will never go anywhere else.

Full on 5 stars, I’ve been going for about 3 to 4 years now. My mom and dad go as well. We haven’t really had a bad experience at all. I just got a hair cut done for school and got an excellent job done as it’ll look good for when it grows out over the semester. Great deal for a men’s cut honestly. I saw someone say it was expensive for a guy. For me, where I like to keep my hair a bit longer with layers and bangs I have to say it’s not expensive at all, this ain’t no chop shop man.

I started going to The Mitchell Wade salon in March after moving to Oviedo. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Colin has been my stylist and I can’t say enough great things about him. He is very talented and skilled. I have had trouble in the past getting my hair to stay honey blonde without pulling to much red and looking brassy. Colin gets my color exactly how I want it and it stays that way. I am truly a loyal fan of your art! Our family has been with Karen and Mitch since 1991. That makes us 24 years together. I have learned through trimming my daughters bangs myself (as little girls) and Karen trying to clean up my work and whispering to them “don’t let Mommy trim your bangs, ok?” – and a son who wanted a mullet (not even lying) – as well as Allison and Neils wedding– we love all of the stylist – but my loyalty is to to Karen Harrold! We have been through, spiral perms, dyed myself and Karen tried to “fix” it ! – Prom hair-do’s – 3 different salons – and so many happy fun moments. Karen was single when we first met- then Karen was married- and finally the biggest joy in her life a Buddy arrived. The salon caters to both those of us who are more traditional – as well as the current styles “ombre’s” – blue hair – and fun funky styles. The products are well researched and delightful. I love that Mitch does so much for the community .

I’m the first to review the Mitchell Wade Salon and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it. I have been going to this salon for over 5 years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
My hair dresser, Delores, is absolutely amazing – I love her! She is great at giving advice on what may or may not look good (if you’re looking for that), she is super friendly, funny, and she might even sing for you if you’re nice to her 🙂 She always does a great job on my hair – I always get compliments on the cut and color.
Delores is not the only friendly one, but the ENTIRE staff is friendly. They all know you by name (enter Cheers theme song), are attentive to your needs (always bringing water, coffee, cookies, soda – whatever you need), and is overall plain ol’ awesome.
I love this place, and if you’re looking for a new salon (hair, nails, whatever you want) or even just to switch it up, definitely give them a shot.
