Last Fall the salon hired a few new team members to the growing family.
Salon owner, Mitch, has taken the newly licensed cosmetologists (or Associates) under his wing. He has customized a tailored apprenticeship program for them, complete with technical benchmarks, consultation skill training, product knowledge, and certifications.
The Associates have also all received front desk training, getting to know not only the technical components of the business, but most importantly the salon’s valued and loyal clients, their preferences, and how to continue providing excellent customer service.
“We pride ourselves in our strong team dynamic. Our management and senior staff, have a vast collective amount of knowledge in customer service, hair color, technical cuts, chemical services, razoring techniques, texturizing services, products, retaining happy clients, and more… My entire team has played an integral role in the growth of these Associates. They help me train, give consistent feedback on their technical abilities, and lend a helping hand wherever’s needed. These Associates are going through a MW bootcamp, and they will emerge on the other side as strong, competent, and quality hairdressers.”
The Associates have been taking clients since late last year, and have already exceeded our expectations with melty highlights and balayage services, precision haircuts, and beautiful blow dries. (See some of their work below.)
